All Washingtonians should have a go-to Ethiopian spot, and Zenebech is ours. After selling their space in Shaw in 2016, they reopened in Adams Morgan with a very similar menu that still delivers. You’ll find the same injera platters (sourdough flatbread with toppings) stews, and lamb tibs, but also a few more vegetarian options. It’s still casual and you can expect to eat with your hands, so come for lunch or dinner with a friend who won’t judge you for getting sauce all over your t-shirt.
