Florida Avenue Grill has been serving Southern comfort food in the U Street corridor since the 1940s. It’s still a reliable spot at all times of the day, but we like it best for a simple breakfast or brunch that includes the eggs, bacon, and cornbread. There are plenty of booths if you’re coming with a group, but it’s also ideal for a solo meal at the bar.
