8 "Sports!" restaurants in Washington DC.
These are the places that A) serve good food and B) have televisions that will be showing any big games. Some of them only serve bar food, but don’t act like that isn't what you want when you're watching sports. Even if your team doesn't win, come hungry and you'll at least leave somewhat happy.
Right off U Street, Takoda has a nice (but small) rooftop and some good bar food options. We like it for a day drinking session or even a casual date.
Weirdly, one of the best views of Nats stadium is from the rooftop bar at the Navy Yard Hampton Inn. Take advantage next time you didn’t get tickets.
The Bullpen does music, cheap drinks, and bar food starting two hours before every Nats game. Go with a big group, and play some cornhole.
The Brig has your typical beer garden brats, picnic tables, and drinks, but also live music on Saturdays.
Don’t just hit Bluejacket before a Nats game - the Navy Yard brewery is a great spot for a group hang and even a casual date.
Stoney’s in Foggy Bottom has a good patio, a solid happy hour, and plenty of TV’s to watch the game on.
