Between all the neon colors and hanging plants, this place might look more natural in Miami than Center City, but maybe that’s why Mission Taqueria is always packed. They have one of the most popular Happy Hours near Rittenhouse - both because of its location and overall vibe, but also due to their $6 house margaritas and $2 tacos.

Outside of Happy Hour, you might pay at a little more for your tacos and though the fillings are delicious (think mole chicken, grilled octopus, and fried mahi mahi), the portions are on the small side. That said, you’re probably not coming here for the food alone. It’s a scene, and a fun place to go on a first or second date, after work, or for lunch when you need more than a 15-minute break from your office.
