Vietnaam is a neighborhood standby near 86th Street on the UES. The space has such a massive dining room that the owners felt compelled to put up a line of decorative birch trees to create a divider in the middle of all the two-tops and big tables. The Vietnamese dishes here are classic (and the menu is huge). This is ideal if you’re in the East 80s on a Sunday night and you’d rather get something great for around $15-20 per person instead of cooking in your apartment.
