This small, order-at-the-counter outpost of Taboon in Hell's Kitchen serves the kind of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food you want to eat every day. We're big fans of the chicken platter and the salmon pita - if you're not taking it to go, the shakshuka is worth a try as well. Taboonette works for a solo meal or a quick casual dinner, as well as for takeout.

Celestine feels like a casual neighborhood restaurant, but this Mediterranean spot is on the water in Dumbo and has excellent views.

Taboon is one of the best restaurants in Hell's Kitchen, especially if you get down on Middle Eastern food. But also even if you don't.
Mulberry & Vine
Mulberry & Vine's cheap-ish and healthy platters make it one of our favorite lunch spots in Tribeca. The big and bright space doesn't hurt either.
Duzan serves shawarma, kebabs, and falafel as pitas and bowls in a small counter-service space in Astoria.
