Samudra is an Indian spot in Jackson Heights that’s completely vegetarian. Many of the dishes here involve fried potatoes and breads, and you shouldn’t leave this place without ordering a dosa - each one is giant and costs around $7. It’s not technically on the menu, but ask for a dosa filled with the Gobi Manchurian (spicy cauliflower) entree. It’s worth a trip here on its own.
