Otis is on a warehouse-filled block in East Williamsburg, not far from the Morgan L train stop. The space is long and dark, with a big bar and a little dining room in the back that has an open kitchen to the side. There are also a few couches up front, where you can have a drink and hang out. As for the food, it’s American/Mediterranean, but with dishes that are a little more interesting than what you might find at your average pasta/kale spot (the pork shoulder pasta with miso and pesto is a good example of this). You don’t necessarily need to cancel all your plans and head to Otis right now, but it’s a good place to know about if you spend time in the area.
