Commissary is a sandwich counter, butcher shop, market, coffee shop, and gelateria, so you can stop in for coffee and a pastry, and walk out with cold cuts and gelato. There’s always a line out the door during peak lunch hours, which makes sense since their French dip with pho broth and quinoa salad with lamb kafta are both excellent. It’s also right in the middle of Downtown, which makes it an ideal spot to for a work break, or before you check out the Dallas World Aquarium.
