This Parson’s doesn’t have quite the same killer patio as the original Logan Square location, but makes up for it with a bright, spacious indoor seating area. Our favorite way to order their fried chicken is the thigh sandwich, which comes topped with slaw, American cheese, hot sauce, aioli, and pickles. They also have a long and affordable roster of drinks, including beer cocktails and their infamous negroni slushy.

Gilt Bar is the rare River North spot that’s easy to get into, and also has great food. Prepare for a lot of meat, butter, and salt.

Glenn's Diner feels like a diner, but it specializes in simple seafood. They also have spaghetti and meatballs and a cereal bar. You'll like it.
